Ministry case file // Campaign / Persistence / Consequences
One rescue can change several later outcomes
A rescue can decide who joins you, who turns against you, which opportunities remain open, and what changes back at base.
Save one person and you may gain a recruit, create an enemy, close another path, and return home to a base that remembers the choice.
Persistent outcome record
The decision remains after the scene closes.
A rescue can alter the people available to you and the hostility waiting elsewhere. The campaign carries that result into later encounters and the base.
Some outcomes exclude another path. The record helps the player understand which part of the world changed and why it stayed changed.
DispositionOutcome attached to campaign record
Quest outcomes are carried forward through saved character status, faction response, recruitment, and changes at the player base. Later scenes can read the same outcome that ended the original encounter.
Read what the choice changed.
These records help the player separate the immediate result from the consequences that can return later.
